TRIBAL PERSPECTIVES ON CULTURAL
& NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT TRAINING

(ARPA) Awareness Training
Cultural Resource Awareness Training
Cultural Sensitivity Training
The Volpentest HAMMER Training and Education Center
Indian Lake

This training is designed for Federal agencies that have requested cultural sensitivity classes to gain an understanding behind the needs of Native Americans.

Federal agencies requesting this 3 day training in the Blue Mountains include the Bonneville Power Administration, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Energy.

“The biggest thing we try to accomplish in these trainings is to educate the people who work on the ground about the cultural significance of artifacts and places. But we don’t overlook the people at the top, either. They are the ones who make the decisions who are the planners, and who can change the way things happen,” said Jeff Van Pelt, former CRPP Program Manager.

Trainings upon request: Please call the Program Manager at (541) 276-3629 for more information.
