CTUIR Statutes
This page contains the current statutes of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. The Confederated Tribes enacted its first statute in 1953 and since that time, the number and complexity of tribal statutes has steadily increased. The Confederated Tribes now administers 29 statutes covering a wide range of subject matter. Each statute listed on this page also includes an appendix detailing that statute’s legislative history.
From time to time, the Board of Trustees amends the statutes of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. While the Confederated Tribes makes every effort to ensure that the statutes on this page are updated promptly as they are amended, it is the responsibility of the user to confirm that a given statute is current.
