The bus for Kanine Ridge Climb participants will depart at 7 a.m. from Tamastslikt and participants will be picked up at Deadman Pass in time to participate in lunch and other activities.

Sweatshirts and t-shirts are available for purchase at the event.
Salmon spawning tour will be a highlight of this year's Salmon Walk event. A bus will depart at 7 a.m. from Tamastslikt Cultural Institute to take participants to the upper Umatilla River on the Umatilla National Forest to observe live, natural, wild salmon on their spawning beds. Anyone wanting to go on the spawning tour is asked to gather at 6:45 a.m. at Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. The bus will return around 11 a.m. to the same location. Spawning tour participants are encouraged to bring cameras, comfortable walking shoes, binoculars and polarized sunglasses. They will ride through the heart of the Reservation along the Umatilla River. An experienced guide will narrate points of interest along the way.
Proceeds from Salmon Walk will supplement local schools natural resources curriculum (k-12), including the annual Salmon Expedition, held each spring for more than 2,000 local students.
Salmon Walk is hosted by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
